The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed running back Omari Arnold, wide receivers Jayden Harrison and Benjamin Britton, and defensive back Ethan Stuart on Friday according to the CFL Transactions page. They also announced that defensive lineman Matt Jaworski is retiring.
Omari Arnold is five foot nine and weighs 195 pounds. A native of Quitman, Georgia, Arnold spent four seasons at Georgia Southern (2022-25) with 327 carries for 2,016 yards, 14 rushing touchdowns, completing 5 of 7 passes (71%) for 155 yards, five touchdowns, 66 catches for 539 yards, four touchdowns, 13 kick returns for 250 yards, and one tackle (1 assist) in 47 games for the Eagles.
In 2025, Arnold was named Second Team All-Sun Belt after finishing the season with a career-high 144 carries for 1,032 yards, five rushing touchdowns, completing two passes for 85 yards, two touchdowns, 21 catches for 212 yards, and one touchdown in 12 games.
Jayden Harrison is five foot ten and weighs 198 pounds. The 25-year-old from Pontiac, Michigan, began his collegiate career at Vanderbilt (2019-20) with eight catches for 20 yards, one carry for 16 yards, and seven kick returns for 141 yards in nine games for the Commodores.
Next, he transferred to Marshall (2021-23) with 63 catches for 759 yards, four touchdowns, two carries for four yards, 53 kick returns for 1,381 yards, three returning touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in 38 games for the Thundering Herd.
In 2023, he was named First Team All-Sun Belt and First Team All-American after finishing the season with a career-high 28 catches for 410 yards, one touchdown, one carry for eight yards, 23 kick returns for 705 yards, two returning touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in 13 games.
Then, he transferred to Notre Dame in 2024 with 19 catches for 211 yards, one touchdown, 12 kick returns for 320 yards, one returning touchdown, and four tackles (4 solos) in 16 games for the Fighting Irish, helping them win the Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl before losing to Ohio State in the CFP National Championship.
Benjamin Britton is six foot three and weighs 205 pounds. The 22-year-old from Calgary, Alberta, was drafted by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the sixth round (51st pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Britton spent four seasons at the University of Calgary (2022-25) with 75 catches for 1,124 yards, six touchdowns, and six tackles (5 solos, 1 assist) in 20 games for the Dinos. He did not play in 2025. In 2024, he made a career-high 42 catches for 661 yards, three touchdowns, and three tackles (2 solos, 1 assist) in eight games. He was named a Canada West All-Star in 2024.
Ethan Stuart is six foot and weighs 223 pounds. The 24-year-old from Oakville, Ontario, was drafted by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the fourth round (33rd pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Stuart spent five seasons at McMaster University (2021-25) with 122 tackles (80 solos, 42 assists), three tackles for loss, two sacks, three interceptions, eight pass breakups, one fumble recovery, and one punt return for 39 yards in 35 games for the Marauders.
Matt Jaworski is six foot five and weighs 260 pounds. The 23-year-old from Buffalo, New York, attended the Buffalo Bills rookie minicamp in 2025. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Jaworski on October 2, 2025.
Collegiately, Jaworski played four seasons at Fordham (2021-24) with 167 tackles (87 solos, 80 assists), 42.5 tackles for loss, 19.5 sacks, eight pass breakups, six forced fumbles, two blocked kicks, and two punt returns for 32 yards in 41 games for the Rams.
Jaworski was named a two-time First Team All-Patriot League, two-time First Team All-Patriot League by Phil Steele, Phil Steele Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year, Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year, Second Team All-American by Stats Perform, and Fourth Team All-American by Phil Steele.
