The Houston Roughnecks released quarterback Kenji Bahar and wide receiver Isiah Hennie on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Kenji Bajar is six foot three and weighs 200 pounds. The 26-year-old from Baltimore, Maryland, completed 157 of 253 passes (62.1%) for 1,709 yards, 8 touchdowns, 9 interceptions, and 23 carries for 68 yards in nine games for the Houston Gamblers in 2023. He was released by the Roughnecks on January 25, 2024, and later re-signed with them on April 10, 2024.

The Gamblers drafted Bajar in the 12th round (97th pick) of the 2022 USFL Draft. In 2022, Bajar completed 61 of 100 passes (61%) for 541 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions, and 20 carries for 87 yards in seven games, of which three were starts for the Gamblers. Before Houston, Bajar signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2021.

Collegiately, Bajar played four seasons at Monmouth (2016-19) completing 798 of 1,290 passes (62%) for 9,642 yards, 70 touchdowns, 34 interceptions, 206 carries for 333 yards, 11 touchdowns, and one catch for 15 yards in 48 games for the Hawks.

He was named First Team All-Big South and Big South Player of the Year in 2019. He set all but one career passing record at Monmouth including, touchdowns, completions, yardage, 300-yard games, attempts, and efficiency.

Isiah Hennie is five foot seven and weighs 171 pounds. The 26-year-old from San Diego, California, made three catches for 12 yards, ten kick returns for 328 yards, and two punt returns for 10 yards in four games for the Houston Roughnecks. The Houston Roughnecks drafted Hennie in the 2024 UFL Dispersal Draft.

Before Houston, Hennie had a big year with Pittsburgh Maulers in 2023 making 46 catches for 474 yards, three touchdowns, 12 carries for 50 yards, five kick returns for 95 yards, 17 punt returns for 297 yards, and one touchdown in ten games. He was named a USFL All-Star in 2023.

On April 16th, Hennie returned an 82-yard punt return for a touchdown against the New Orleans Breakers, which set a new All-Time USFL record.

The Maulers signed Hennie as a free agent in 2022. He caught 18 passes for 198 yards, three touchdowns, 8 kick returns for 178 yards, and ten punt returns for 130 yards in five games, of which two were starts.

Collegiately, Hennie played four seasons at Sacramento State (2014-17) with 139 catches for 1,523 yards, 11 touchdowns, eight carries for 24 yards, 64 kick returns for 1,347 yards, one touchdown, 38 punt returns for 308 yards, and two touchdowns in 43 games for the Hornets. He is a two-time All-Big Sky Honorable Mention.
