The B.C. Lions extended the contract of defensive back Cristophe Beaulieu through the 2027 season on Monday.

Cristophe Beaulieu is six foot two and weighs 195 pounds. The 26-year-old from Blainville, Quebec, made 11 tackles, one tackle on special teams, one tackle for loss, and one pass breakup in three games this season.

The B.C. Lions drafted Beaulieu in the third round (26th pick) in the 2024 CFL Draft. In 2024, he made 14 tackles, 12 tackles on special teams, and one pass breakup in 15 games. In 2025, he made 36 tackles, one tackle for loss, one forced fumble, six pass breakups, and two interceptions in 14 games.

Collegiately, Beaulieu played three seasons at the University of Laval (2021-23) with 66 tackles (53 solo, 13 assists), three tackles for loss, four interceptions for 93 yards, and 13 pass breakups in 22 games for the Rouge Et Or. He was named First Team U Sports All-Star in 2022 and a two-time RSEQ Defensive All-Star Team in 2022 and 2023.
