The B.C. Lions signed defensive back Grayland Arnold to a future contract on Tuesday, according to the CFL Transactions page.
Grayland Arnold is five foot ten and weighs 190 pounds. The 29-year-old from Kountze, Texas, signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2020. He also spent time with the Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Atlanta Falcons with 33 tackles (20 solos, 13 assists), two tackles for loss, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 26 games.
Collegiately, Arnold spent four seasons at Baylor (2016-19) with 107 tackles (82 solos, 25 assists), 7.5 tackles for loss, one sack, seven interceptions for 138 yards, 20 pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, 14 punt returns for 161 yards, and one touchdown in 37 games for the Bears.
He was named Second Team All-Big XII and Second Team All-American by Sports Illustrated in 2019 after finishing the season with 46 tackles (33 solos, 13 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack, six interceptions for 118 yards, eight pass breakups, 12 punt returns for 149 yards, and one touchdown in 12 games.
