The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed wide receiver Marcus Sanders Jr. and defensive lineman Treven Ma’ae to the practice squad on Monday.
Marcus Sanders Jr. is six foot one and weighs 190 pounds. The 22-year-old from Montezuma, Georgia, signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent on May 8, 2026. In 2026, he played in three preseason games with no stats. The Vikings released him on August 30, 2026.
Collegiately, Sanders Jr. spent four seasons at Georgia Southern University (2022-25) with 85 catches for 1,217 yards, eight touchdowns, two carries for 14 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 46 games for the Eagles. In 2025, he was named Fourth Team All-Sun Belt Conference by Phil Steele and an All-Sun Belt Conference Honorable Mention after finishing the season with 50 catches for 797 yards and five touchdowns in 13 games.
Treven Ma’ae is six foot three and weighs 291 pounds. The 25-year-old from Kapolei, Hawaii, signed with the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, he made four tackles (2 solos, 2 assists) and one sack in three preseason games. In 2026, he made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in three preseason games. The Raiders released him on August 30, 2026.
Collegiately, Ma’ae spent three seasons at the University of Oregon (2020-22) with 32 tackles (11 solos, 21 assists), four tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one pass breakup in 28 games for the Ducks. In a corresponding move, the Roughriders released wide receiver Vyshonne Janusas and defensive back Millard Bradford III.
Vyshonne Janusas is five foot eleven and weighs 221 pounds. The 25-year-old from Windsor, Ontario, re-signed with the Stampeders on November 18, 2025. In 2026, he made two catches for 12 yards in two games before he was placed on the practice squad. The Stampeders released him on July 28, 2026. The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Janusas on August 10, 2026. In 2026, he made two catches for 12 yards and one tackle on special teams in two games.
The Calgary Stampeders drafted Janusas in the fifth round (38th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft. In 2025, Janusas made two catches for 14 yards in 10 games. The Stampeders released him on November 2, 2025.

Millard ‘Nook’ Bradford III is five foot eleven and weighs 191 pounds. The 27-year-old from Helotes, Texas, signed with the Calgary Stampeders on January 23, 2026. He attended training camp before the Stampeders released him on May 13, 2026. The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Bradford III to the practice squad on September 20, 2026.
