The Birmingham Stallion signed offensive lineman Brian Dooley on Wednesday, according to the UFL Transactions page.
Brian Dooley is six foot five and weighs 318 pounds. The 26-year-old from Bowling Green, Ohio, re-signed with the Panthers on July 4, 2025. He would go unselected in the 2026 UFL Draft.
The Tennessee Titans signed Dooley as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. He played two preseason games. The Titans released him on August 26, 2024. The Michigan Panthers drafted Dooley in the fourth round (30th pick) of the 2024 UFL College Draft. He signed with the Michigan Panthers on October 8, 2024.
In 2025, he played eight games. Michigan averaged 24.5 points per game, 4.5 rushing yards per game, 199.3 passing yards per game, 327.1 total yards per game, and 29 touchdowns, finishing 6-4 for the season and appearing in the 2025 UFL Championship Game. He was named to the All-UFL Team.
Collegiately, Dooley played five seasons at Eastern Michigan (2018-23), playing right tackle and tight end with one catch for 20 yards in 61 games for the Eagles. He was named Second Team All-MAC and Third Team All-MAC by Phil Steele in 2022.
In 2022, Eastern Michigan’s offense averaged 29.77 points per game, 140.8 rushing yards per game, 223.92 passing yards per game, and 49 touchdowns, finishing the season 9-4 and winning the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl 41-27 over San Jose State.
In 2023, Eastern Michigan’s offense averaged 19.54 points per game, 112.1 rushing yards per game, 152.0 passing yards per game, and 31 touchdowns, finishing the season 6-7, and lost the 68 Ventures Bowl against the South Alabama Jaguars 59-10.
