The NASCAR Cup Series visited Kansas Speedway on Sunday afternoon in the AdventHealth 400. Tyler Reddick started the race on the pole, with Denny Hamlin starting second.

Denny Hamlin dominated the majority of the race, leading a race-high 131 of 267 laps, including winning the first stage. Kyle Larson led the second-most laps (78), including winning the second stage. With 10 laps to go, Tyler Reddick, thanks to a tire advantage, passed Denny Hamlin for the lead. Lapped traffic came into play, and Hamlin stayed with Reddick.

Hamlin would get the lead back. Just before Hamlin took the white flag, Cody Ware spun on the frontstretch to bring out the caution and send the race to overtime. In overtime, Kyle Larson took the lead with Reddick, Christopher Bell, and Denny Hamlin, all fighting for the lead.

Reddick charged past Larson to take the lead. He would hold off Kyle Larson to win his fifth race of the season by 0.118 seconds. Reddick led a total of 10 laps. Reddick became the first driver since Dale Earnhardt in 1987 to win five of the first nine races of a season.

Chase Briscoe, Denny Hamlin, and Bubba Wallace rounded out the top five. Brad Keselowski, William Byron, Chase Elliott, Ty Gibbs, and Chris Buescher completed the top ten. Click here for the rest of the finishing order. There were 17 lead changes and three cautions for 20 laps.

The Cup Series heads to Talladega Superspeedway next Sunday at 3 pm on Fox.
