The B.C. Lions re-signed quarterback Chase Brice to a two-year contract extension through the 2027 season and signed offensive lineman Isiah Cage on Monday.

Chase Brice is six foot three and weighs 235 pounds. The 28-year-old from Grayson, Georgia, completed 3 of 4 passes (75%) for 29 yards and three carries for two yards in 18 games.

Brice attended the Atlanta Falcons and Washington Commanders rookie minicamps in 2023. The B.C. Lions signed Brice on June 4, 2023. In 2023, he suited up in two games but did not see action. The Lions re-signed him on November 27, 2023. In 2024, he completed 22 of 29 passes (75.8%) for 232 yards, one touchdown, and two carries for one yard in 18 games.

Collegiately, Brice played two seasons at Clemson (2018-19), completing 12 of 32 passes (62.8%) for 442 yards, five touchdowns, three interceptions, and 16 carries for 115 yards in 12 games for the Tigers, winning the National Championship in 2018.

Then, he transferred to Duke in 2020, completing 193 of 352 passes (55%) for 2,170 yards, ten touchdowns, 15 interceptions, 11 carries for 91 yards, and one touchdown in 11 games for the Blue Devils.

In 2021, he transferred to Appalachian State (2021-22), completing 461 of 739 passes (62%) for 6,258 yards, 54 touchdowns, 17 interceptions, 142 carries for 268 yards, and seven touchdowns in 26 games for the Mountaineers. He was named Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year and Third Team All-Sun Belt in 2021.

Isiah Cage is six foot five and weighs 312 pounds. The 32-year-old from Chicago, Illinois, did not play in 2025.

The Indianapolis Colts signed Cage as an undrafted free agent on May 2, 2016. The Colts released him on May 3, 2017. The Toronto Argonauts signed Cage on May 21, 2018. In 2023, he played ten games at left tackle.

Toronto’s offense ranked second in offensive average points (29.3), second in offensive touchdowns (56), second in average net offense (377.8), fourth in average rushing yards (113.7), fourth in average passing yards (272.2), and first in the least number of sacks allowed (19). Cage played 35 games in six seasons in Toronto, winning two Grey Cup championships.

In 2024, Cage started 14 games. He missed most of the season with an Oblique/Hip injury. Toronto’s offense averaged 28.6 points per game (1st), 368.7 net offense (3rd), 121.3 rushing yards (2nd), 265.2 passing yards (6th), 49 touchdowns (3rd), and allowed 40 sacks (8th) when they won the 111th Grey Cup over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 41-24.

Collegiately, Cage played two seasons at Concordia-Paul (2011-12), playing ten games for the Golden Bears, of which four were starts at left tackle, allowing 1.5 sacks.

In 2012, Concordia-Paul averaged 25.6 points per game, 151.0 rushing yards per game, 233.5 passing yards per game, 384.5 total yards per game, 35 touchdowns, and allowed 26 sacks, finishing 2-9 for the season.

Then, Cage transferred to Wisconsin–Eau Claire (2013-14), playing 19 games for the Blugolds. In 2014, Wisconsin-Eau Claire averaged 8.30 points per game, 89.8 rushing yards per game, 169.40 passing yards per game, 259.2 total yards per game, 10 touchdowns, and allowed 21 sacks, finishing 1-9 for the season. He was named a three-time All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Honorable Mention.
