The Washington Commanders signed tight end Tre’ McKitty on Tuesday.

Tre’ McKitty is six foot four and weighs 243 pounds. The 27-year-old from Wesley Chapel, Florida, was drafted by the Louisville Kings in the 2026 UFL Draft. In 2026, he made five catches for 98 yards in six games. In the UFL playoffs, he made two catches for 32 yards, as the Kings beat the D.C. Defenders in the United Bowl.

The Los Angeles Chargers drafted McKitty in the third round (97th pick) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He played three seasons in Los Angeles with 16 catches for 117 yards and two tackles (2 solos) in 34 games. He also spent time with the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, and the Houston Texans.

Collegiately, McKitty spent three seasons at Florida State University (2017-19) with 50 catches for 520 yards and two touchdowns in 35 games for the Seminoles. Then, he transferred to the University of Georgia in 2020, with six catches for 108 yards and one touchdown in seven games for the Bulldogs.
