The Calgary Stampeders re-signed long snapper Jason MacGougan and placed long snapper Aaron Crawford on the six-game injured list on Tuesday.

Jason MacGougan is six foot and weighs 239 pounds. The 22-year-old from Burlington, Ontario, signed with the Calgary Stampeders on May 2, 2025. In 2025, he played two preseason games.

Collegiately, MacGougan played four seasons at Wilfrid Laurier University (2021-24) making 11 tackles (3 solos, 8 assists) in 37 games for the Golden Hawks. MacGougan helped the kicking game complete 76.5% of field goals. He is a member of the 2024 Uteck Bowl and Yates Cup championship teams.
