On Sunday afternoon at the Adelaide Parklands Circuit in Adelaide, South Australia, the Dunlop Super2 Series held its final race of the 2022 season in race 12 of the VALO Adelaide 500.
Declan Fraser started the race on the pole, and Zak Best qualified second. Fraser lost the lead on the second lap to Matt Chahda, who started third. Chahda dominated the race but was issued a five-second penalty for getting into the back of Fraser. Because of the penalty, Fraser crossed the line second but won the race by 2.827 seconds over Matt Chahda.
With the win, Fraser is the 2022 Dunlop Super2 Series champion. The rest of the top ten finishers were Zak Best third, Matthew Payne fourth, Tyler Everingham fifth, Ryal Harris sixth, Jaylyn Robotham seventh, Lachlan Dalton eighth, Cameron Crick ninth, and Nash Morris tenth.
