On Saturday at Reid Park Street Circuit in Townsville, Queensland, the Repco Supercars Championship continued its 2022 season with race 19 in the NTI Townsville 500.
Shane Van Gisbergen won the pole and the race by 5.196 seconds over Will Davison, who started second. The rest of the top ten finishers were Cameron Waters third, Andre Heimgartner fourth, Scott Pye fifth, Anton De Pasquale sixth, Broc Feeney seventh, Tim Slade eighth, Chaz Mostert ninth, and Jack Le Brocq tenth.
