The Montreal Alouettes released linebacker Bubba Bolden on Monday.

Bubba Bolden is six foot three and weighs 204 pounds. The 27-year-old from Las Vegas, Nevada, made one tackle, one tackle for loss, and one tackle on special teams in one preseason game. Bolden appeared in three regular-season games with two tackles and one interception.

The Seattle Seahawks signed Bolden as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2022. In 2022, he made three tackles (3 solos) in two preseason games. The Seahawks released him on August 20, 2022. The Cleveland Browns signed Bolden to the practice squad on November 22, 2022. In 2023, he made four tackles (2 solos, 2 assists) and one pass breakup in two preseason games.

The Browns released him on August 17, 2023. The San Antonio Brahmas signed Bolden on December 23, 2023. Then, the Brahmas traded him to the Birmingham Stallions on January 22, 2024, for defensive back Alijah Holder. He attended training camp and was released on March 22, 2024.

Bolden signed with the Minnesota Vikings on March 10, 2025. The Vikings released him on June 13, 2025. The Montreal Alouettes signed Bolden on September 3, 2025. In 2025, he made three tackles on special teams in two games.

Collegiately, Bolden played one season at USC in 2017 with eight tackles (7 solos, 1 assist) in 13 games for the Trojans. Then, he transferred to Miami (FL) (2019-21) with 127 tackles (85 solos, 42 assists), 11 tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions for eight yards, six pass breakups, and five forced fumbles in 23 games for the Hurricanes. He was named Second Team All-ACC and a Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist in 2020.
