The NASCAR Cup Series concluded the weekend at Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday night in the eero 400. Denny Hamlin started on the pole, and Kyle Larson started second.

On the first lap, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. brushed the wall, which triggered the field behind him, causing Erik Jones to hit Ryan Preece, who then hit Connor Zilisch. It was one of seven cautions for 43 laps throughout the race. Zane Smith bumped into Carson Hocevar for the second caution, and Shane van Gisbergen tapped Austin Hill from behind for the third caution. William took the lead on lap 69. He led 14 laps to win the first stage. Byron would also win the second stage.

In the final stage, Byron led 45 laps. He led a race-high 94 of 267 laps. With 52 laps to go, Chase Briscoe came in to pit road, and Byron came a lap later. When the pit cycles were complete, Briscoe was the new leader. In the final laps, Christopher Bell closed in on Briscoe, but he would come up short. Chase Briscoe won his first race of the season over Christopher Bell by 0.276 seconds. Briscoe led 51 laps

Denny Hamlin, William Byron, and Alex Bowman rounded out the top five. Bubba Wallace, Ryan Blaney, Ty Gibbs, Corey Heim, and Riley Herbst completed the top ten. Click here to view the rest of the results.
