The B.C. Lions signed wide receiver Bryan Thompson, offensive lineman Ivory Scott, and defensive lineman Amani Bledsoe and Shaun Peterson Jr.

Bryan Thompson is six foot one and weighs 195 pounds. The 27-year-old from Moreno Valley, California, signed with the B.C. Lions on January 30, 2026. The Lions released him on May 15, 2026.

The Buffalo Bills signed Thompson as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, he made two catches for 11 yards in three preseason games. He spent the season on the practice squad. The Bills re-signed him on January 22, 2024. In 2024, he appeared in one preseason game. He suffered a hamstring injury, and the Bills released him on August 22, 2024.

Collegiately, Thompson spent four seasons at Utah (2017-20) with 33 catches for 756 yards, four touchdowns, one carry for nine yards, one rushing touchdown, and one tackle (1 solo) in 33 games for the Utes. Then, he transferred to Arizona State (2021-22) with 38 catches for 507 yards and two carries for 17 yards in 22 games for the Sun Devils.

Ivory Scott is six foot and weighs 220 pounds. The 27-year-old from Kenner, Louisiana, earned Second Team All-IFL with the San Diego Strike Force in 2026. He played six games with three tackles (3 solos) and one tackle for loss. The Strike Force averaged 49.4 points per game, 253.3 yards per game, 189.7 passing yards per game, 63.6 rushing yards per game, and 110 touchdowns. Scott also played two seasons for the Quad City Steamwheelers in 2024 and 2025.

Collegiately, Scott spent two seasons at Pearl River Community College (2017-18), playing 18 games for the Wildcats. He was named First Team All-MACJC in 2018. Then, he transferred to the University of Arkansas (2019-21), playing right guard and left guard in 36 games for the Razorbacks. He was named an All-SEC Honorable Mention in 2019 and was a recipient of the Gary Withrow Award, which is presented annually to the program’s outstanding offensive lineman of the year. In 2020, Arkansas averaged 32.9 points per game, 489.7 yards per game, 364.4 passing yards per game, 125.4 rushing yards per game, and 47 touchdowns.

Amani Bledsoe is six foot four and weighs 280 pounds. The 28-year-old from Lawrence, Kansas, was drafted by the Birmingham Stallions in the 2026 UFL Draft. In 2026, Bledsoe made 13 tackles (5 solos, 8 assists), one tackle for loss, and one sack in four games.

The Stallions traded him, along with quarterback Matt Corral, to the Orlando Storm for quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson. In Orlando, Bledsoe made nine tackles (4 solos, 5 assists), one tackle for loss, one interception, and two pass breakups in six games. In the UFL Semi-Finals against the D.C. Defenders, Bledsoe made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist).

The Tennessee Titans signed Bledsoe as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2019. He also spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Atlanta Falcons. In 2020, he made 17 tackles (6 solos, 11 assists) and two pass breakups in 14 games for the Cincinnati Bengals. In 2021, he made one tackle (1 solo) in five games for the Tennessee Titans.

The Arlington Renegades signed Bledsoe on January 23, 2025. In 2025, he made 17 tackles (8 solos, 9 assists), six tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks in 10 games.

Collegiately, Bledsoe played three seasons at Oklahoma (2016-18) with 59 tackles (30 solos, 29 assists), 7.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, and eight pass breakups in 30 games, of which 22 were starts for the Sooners. He was an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2018.

Shaun Peterson Jr. is six foot three and weighs 231 pounds. The 26-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, made six tackles and one sack in five games for the Stampeders in 2026.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Peterson Jr. as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, he did not play in the preseason and was released on September 5, 2024. The Calgary Stampeders signed Peterson Jr. on January 22, 2025. In 2025, he made five tackles, six tackles on special teams, and three sacks in six games.

Collegiately, Peterson Jr. played five seasons at Florida International University (2018-22) as a running back and linebacker with 28 tackles (15 solos, 13 assists), eight tackles for loss, six sacks, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, 105 carries for 478 yards, four touchdowns, and three catches for 22 yards in 39 games for the Panthers.

Then, he transferred to the University of Central Florida in 2023 with 14 tackles (10 solos, 4 assists), one tackle for loss, one sack, and one forced fumble in 12 games for the Knights.

In a corresponding move, the Lions released quarterback Tyrie Adams, wide receiver Silas Bolden, and offensive linemen Jaquan Adams and Christian Olmstead.

Tyrie Adams is six foot two and weighs 185 pounds. The 29-year-old from St. Petersburg, Florida, signed with the B.C. Lions on July 21, 2026. In 2026, Adams appeared in two games.

Adams played for the Salina Liberty (CIF) for one season, completing 83 of 117 passes (71%) for 944 yards, 25 touchdowns, and three interceptions. He led Liberty to a 13-2 record, and the team lost the CIF Championship game to the Omaha Beef by one point. Adams was hired as a running backs coach for Dodge City Community College.

The Ottawa Redblacks signed Adams as a free agent in 2022. He completed 8 of 12 passes (66.7%) for 98 yards, and four carries for 31 yards in two games. In 2023, he completed 23 of 37 passes (62.2%) for 314 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and seven carries for 50 yards in three games, of which one was a start against the Edmonton Elks before an ACL injury ended his season.

In 2024, he dressed for six games, but did not see any action. In 2025, he completed 36 of 58 passes (62%) for 405 yards, four touchdowns, five interceptions, and 10 carries for 35 yards in eight games.

Adams signed with the Salina Liberty of the National Arena League on May 21, 2026. In 2026, he completed 21 of 35 passes (60%) for 191 yards, five touchdowns, four interceptions, 10 carries for 64 yards, and three rushing touchdowns in two games.

In the NAL playoffs, Adams completed 29 of 37 passes (69.2%) for 240 yards, eight touchdowns, one interception, 30 carries for 133 yards, and three rushing touchdowns, leading Liberty to the NAL Championship Game, where they lost to the Southwest Kansas Storm.

Collegiately, Adams played four seasons at Western Carolina (2016-19), completing 739 of 1,172 (63%) for 8,978 yards, 64 touchdowns, 32 interceptions, 594 carries for 2,547 yards, 18 touchdowns, and two catches for ten yards in 44 games for the Catamounts.

Adams was Western Carolina’s all-time leader in career completions (739), pass attempts (1,172), passing yards (8,978), passing touchdowns (64), and total offense yards (11,525). He is a two-time Second Team All-Southern Conference, 2016 Southern Conference Freshman of the Year, and was selected to the SoCon All-Freshman team.

Silas Bolden is five foot eight and weighs 160 pounds. The 24-year-old from Fontana, California, was drafted by the Dallas Renegades in the 2026 UFL Draft. He attended training camp before he was released on March 19, 2026. The Lions signed Bolden on April 15, 2026. In 2026, he made three catches for 25 yards, 13 kick returns for 223 yards, and eight punt returns for 78 yards in two games.

The Minnesota Vikings signed Bolden as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, Bolden made one catch for three yards, three kick returns for 76 yards, and one punt return for eight yards in three preseason games. The Vikings released him on August 24, 2025. The Houston Texans signed Bolden to the practice squad on September 3, 2025. They released him on September 16, 2025.

Collegiately, Bolden spent three seasons at Oregon State University (2021-23) with 80 catches for 1,076 yards, nine touchdowns, 21 carries for 202 yards, four rushing touchdowns, 40 kick returns for 1,008 yards, three punt returns for 97 yards, one touchdown, and four tackles (2 solos, 2 assists) in 27 games for the Beavers.

In 2022, he was named Second Team All-Pac-12 and First Team All-Pac-12 by Phil Steele after finishing the season with 23 catches for 305 yards, four touchdowns, nine carries for 105 yards, two rushing touchdowns, 22 kick returns for 599 yards, and two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in 13 games.

In 2023, he had a career-high 54 catches for 746 yards, five touchdowns, nine carries for 84 yards, two rushing touchdowns, 17 kick returns for 392 yards, three punt returns for 97 yards, one touchdown, and two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in 13 games.

Then, Bolden transferred to the University of Texas in 2024 with 23 catches for 267 yards, one touchdown, two carries for -3 yards, one rushing touchdown, one kick return for nine yards, 30 punt returns for 315 yards, one touchdown, and one tackle (1 solo) in 16 games for the Longhorns. In the 2024 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Bolden made one catch for five yards and two punt returns for 80 yards, including a 75-yard punt return for a touchdown against Arizona State. It was the 10th-longest punt return in program history.

JaQuan Adams is six foot four and weighs 300 pounds. The 23-year-old from Raleigh, North Carolina, signed with the Lions on July 13, 2026. He spent a month on the practice squad.

Collegiately, Adams began his collegiate career at Monroe University in 2022, playing six games for the Mustangs. Monroe averaged 21.4 points per game, 285.5 yards per game, 214.9 passing yards per game, 70.6 rushing yards per game, and 23 touchdowns.

Next, he transferred to Gardner-Webb University in 2023, playing 12 games for the Runnin’ Bulldogs. Gardner-Webb averaged 26.8 points per game, 338.8 yards per game, 183.2 passing yards per game, 155.6 rushing yards per game, and 42 touchdowns.

Then, he transferred to East Tennessee State University in 2024, starting left tackle in 12 games for the Buccaneers. ETSU averaged 27.6 points per game, 406.4 yards per game, 212.3 passing yards per game, 194.2 rushing yards per game, and 42 touchdowns.

Adams concluded his career at the University of Tulsa in 2025, appearing in 11 games for the Golden Hurricanes. Tulsa averaged 23.2 points per game, 397.9 yards per game, 222.4 passing yards per game, 175.5 rushing yards per game, and 33 touchdowns.

Christian Olmstead is six foot four and weighs 315 pounds. The 28-year-old from Florence, Kentucky, played right guard and right tackle in two preseason games. The Lions released him on May 31, 2026. The Lions re-signed him on July 28, 2026.

The Montreal Alouettes signed Olmstead on October 29, 2021. He spent the season on the practice squad before he was released on November 5, 2021. He also played for the Linemen of The Spring League in 2021, helping them win the Mega Bowl over the Jousters.

The St. Louis Battlehawks drafted Olmstead in the ninth round (71st pick) of the 2023 XFL Draft. In 2023, he played three games. He re-signed with the Battlehawks on January 23, 2024, but was released at the end of training camp on March 10, 2024.

In 2025, Olmstead played three games for the San Diego Strike Force (IFL) with two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) and one fumble recovery. San Diego’s offense averaged 44.06 points per game, 170.5 passing yards per game, 54.7 rushing yards per game, 105 touchdowns, and allowed six sacks. The B.C. Lions signed Olmstead on October 31, 2025.

Collegiately, Olmstead played four seasons at the University of Findlay (2015-18), a Division II college in Findlay, Ohio. Olmstead played in 42 games for the Oilers. In 2018, Findlay’s offense averaged 41.18 points per game, 494.2 yards per game, 267.1 yards rushing per game, 292 first downs (fourth in the country), and allowed seven sacks.

The Oilers made it to the 2017 championship game with a 10-3 record, but lost 45-26 to the Assumption Greyhounds. Olmstead was named an All-G-MAC Honorable Mention in 2017 and named Second Team All-G-MAC in 2018.
