The Calgary Stampeders re-signed defensive lineman Savio Frazier to the practice squad on Wednesday.
Savio Frazier is six foot and weighs 295 pounds. The 23-year-old from Hampton, Georgia, signed with the Calgary Stampeders on October 5, 2025. The Stampeders released him on May 13, 2026.
Collegiately, Frazier played three seasons at Mercer University (2021-23) with 74 tackles (20 solos, 54 assists), 12 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries in 33 games for the Bears. He was named to the SoCon Freshman All-Conference Team.
Then, he transferred to Miami (OH) in 2024 with 24 tackles (7 solos, 17 assists), five tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and two pass breakups in 14 games for the Redhawks. He was named Miami’s Defensive Newcomer of the Year.
