The Ottawa Redblacks signed linebacker Bryce Ramirez on Friday, per his agency.
Bryce Ramirez is six foot two and weighs 235 pounds. A native of Missouri City, Texas, Ramirez spent five seasons at Texas Tech University (2021-25) with 67 tackles (47 solos, 20 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 41 games for the Red Raiders.
In 2025, he made a career-high 22 tackles (15 solos, 7 assists), one tackle for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 14 games. He was named a five-time Academic All-Big 12 (Second Team 2021-23, First Team in 2024, Third Team in 2025), and Third Team All-Big 12 on special teams. He helped Texas Tech win the Big 12 title game in 2025 with one tackle, and the Red Raiders appeared in the College Football Playoff.
