The Calgary Stampeders signed wide receiver Nunu Whatley on Saturday.
Nunu Whatley is five foot ten and weighs 171 pounds. The 23-year-old from Rockmart, Georgia, began his collegiate career at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (2022-24) with 108 catches for 1,810 yards, 12 touchdowns, five carries for eight yards, 33 kick returns for 676 yards, and two tackles (2 solos) in 27 games for the Mocs. He was named a three-time All-SoCon honoree and a two-time All-American.
Then, he transferred to Arizona in 2025, where he was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention with 41 catches for 490 yards, five touchdowns, eight carries for 36 yards, one rushing touchdown, and four kick returns for 98 yards in 13 games for the Wildcats.
The Stampeders made the following moves:
