
The B.C. Lions released defensive lineman Xavier Henderson and added wide receiver Lynn Bowden Jr. to the active roster on Friday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Xavier Henderson is six foot one and weighs 320 pounds. The 24-year-old from Houston, Texas, went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft. The B.C. Lions signed Henderson on March 18, 2025.
Collegiately, Henderson played six seasons at Texas A&M-Kingsville (2019-24) making 153 tackles (68 solos, 85 assists), 24 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, six pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one blocked kick in 45 games for the Javelinas.
In 2024, he made 49 tackles (24 solos, 25 assists), 13 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one blocked kick in 11 games. He was named First Team All-Lone Star Conference in 2024.
