The B.C. Lions signed fullback Luka Stoikos, offensive linemen Connor Klassen, Dre Doiron, and Alex Berwick, linebacker Chase Tataryn, defensive back Jackson Findlay, kicker and punter Ross Bolger, and kicker Mark McNamee on Monday.
Luka Stoikos is five foot ten and weighs 233 pounds. The 21-year-old from Toronto, Ontario, was drafted by the B.C. Lions in the eighth round (67th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Stoikos played four seasons at the University of Toronto (2021-24) with 111 carries for 601 yards, six touchdowns, four catches for 21 yards, 59 kick returns for 1,291 yards, three touchdowns, one punt return for no yards, 14 tackles (10 solos, 4 assists), and a half tackle for loss in 29 games for the Varsity Blues. He was named a two-time MVP.
Connor Klassen is six foot three and weighs 311 pounds. The 23-year-old from Big River, Saskatchewan, was drafted by the B.C. Lions in the fourth round (37th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Klassen played three seasons with the Regina Thunder (CJFL) helping them win a Prairie Football Conference championship in 2022. Klassen was named the PFC’s Outstanding Lineman and a First-Team All-Canadian with the Thunder in 2022. He also earned PFC all-star recognition two times (2021-22).
Collegiately, Klassen played two seasons at the University of Regina (2023-24) playing right tackle in 16 games for the Rams. In 2024, Regina averaged 19.82 points per game, 131.8 rushing yards per game, 234.55 passing yards per game, 355.6 total yards per game, 21 touchdowns, and allowed seven sacks finishing 5-6 for the season.
Dre Doiron is six foot four and weighs 303 pounds. The 23-year-old from London, Ontario, was drafted by the B.C. Lions in the fifth round (41st pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Doiron played one season at Buffalo in 2021 playing 12 games, and started 10 at right tackle. In 2021, Buffalo averaged 29.25 points per game, 195.5 rushing yards per game, 214.92 passing yards per game, 410.4 total yards per game, 44 touchdowns, and allowed 16 tackles finishing 4-8 for the season. He was named Academic All-MAC.
Then, he transferred to Kansas (2022-24) playing 14 games for the Jayhawks. In 2024, Kansas averaged 29.67 points per game, 212.1 rushing yards per game, 208.75 passing yards per game, 420.8 total yards per game, 46 touchdowns, and allowed 10 sacks finishing 5-7 for the season.
Alex Berwick is six foot two and weighs 306 pounds. The 24-year-old from Ottawa, Ontario, was drafted by the B.C. Lions in the seventh round (59th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Berwick played five seasons at Western University (2019-24) playing 41 games for the Mustangs. In 2024, Western averaged 49.5 points per game, 227.8 rushing yards per game, 264.8 passing yards per game, 492.5 total yards per game, and 43 touchdowns finishing 7-1 for the season.
Chase Tataryn is five foot ten and weighs 212 pounds. The 21-year-old from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, was drafted by the B.C. Lions in the sixth round (50th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Tataryn played four seasons at the University of Alberta (2021-24) making 139 tackles (91 solos, 48 assists), 11 tackles for loss, six sacks, one interception, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 28 games for the Golden Bears.
Jackson Findlay is six foot two and weighs 207 pounds. The 21-year-old from North Vancouver, British Columbia, was drafted by the B.C. Lions in the second round (16th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Findlay played four seasons at Western University (2021-24) making 182 tackles (97 solos, 85 assists), 6.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, eight interceptions for 204 yards, one touchdown, 25 pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, three punt returns for 15 yards, and one kick return for no yards in 41 games for the Mustangs. Findlay won the President’s Trophy as OUA Most Outstanding Stand-Up Defensive Player of the Year.
Ross Bulger is five foot eleven and weighs 207 pounds. The 23-year-old from Laois, Ireland, was drafted by the B.C. Lions in the first round (4th pick) of the 2025 CFL Global Draft.
Bulger played two seasons at Idaho State (2023-24) punting the ball 94 times for 4,033 yards (42.9 AVG), with a long of 66 yards, four touchbacks, 24 fair catches, 28 from inside the 20-yard line, 23 from 50-plus yards, 48 kickoffs for 2,655 yards (55.3 AVG), and 32 touchbacks in 23 games for the Tigers.
In 2024, Bulger punted the ball 46 times for 2,051 yards (44.6 AVG), and 13 kickoffs for 764 yards (58.8 AVG) with six touchbacks in 12 games for the Tigers. He finished the season 13th in the nation in net punting.
Before coming to America, Bulger played Gaelic football as a full forward for Club Killeshin and County Laois. Bolger was named to the NFL International Pathway program for 2025.
Mark McNamee is six foot four and weighs 210 pounds. The 25-year-old from Dublin, Ireland, was drafted by the B.C. Lions in the second round (13th pick) of the 2025 CFL Global Draft.
McNamee was a goalkeeper for the Gaelic Football for Ballyboden St Edna before heading to the NFL Combine in 2025 as part of the NFL International Pathway program. At the NFL Combine, he made good on all but one field goal attempt.
