The B.C. Lions signed linebacker Tyrell Adams and defensive back Justin Ford on Friday.

Tyrell Adams is six foot two and weighs 228 pounds. The 31-year-old from Atlanta, Georgia, made 16 tackles (7 solo, 9 assists) in four games for the Seattle Sea Dragons (XFL) in 2023. The Sea Dragons signed Adams as a free agent on March 28, 2023.

Before Seattle, Adams signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2015. He also had stints with the Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers, and Jacksonville Jaguars making 163 tackles (99 solo, 64 assists), five tackles for loss, three quarterbacks, two sacks, four pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 44 NFL regular season games.

Collegiately, Adams played four seasons at West Georgia (2011-14) playing 29 games for the Wolves. He was named First Team All-Gulf South Conference in 2013.

Justin Ford is six foot two and weighs 200 pounds. The 25-year-old from Concord, North Carolina, signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent and later attended rookie minicamp. After the Ravens released him, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings and attended their rookie minicamp.

The Houston Gamblers drafted Ford in the second round (10th pick) of the 2023 USFL Draft. Collegiately, Ford played two seasons at Golden West College in California (2017-18) with 41 tackles (35 solo, 6 assists), four interceptions, and ten pass breakups in 31 games for the Rustlers.

Next, he went to Kansas before transferring transferred to Louisville in 2019 playing three games with one kick return for 61 yards, and one punt return for 27 yards for the Cardinals.

Then, he transferred to Montana State (2020-22) with 74 tackles (50 solo, 24 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, one sack, 11 interceptions for 134 yards, two touchdowns, 28 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 23 games for the Grizzlies. He is a two-time FCS All-American, and First Team All-Big Sky at cornerback.
