The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed defensive back Katley Joseph on Monday.

Katley Joseph is five foot ten and weighs 185 pounds. The 24-year-old from Ottawa, Ontario, played three seasons at the University of Maine (2018-21) with 69 tackles (46 solo, 23 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, one interception for 13 yards, and 20 pass breakups in 24 games for the Black Bears.

Joseph helped the Black Bears win the CAA Championship and was named to the FCS All-American Freshman Team in 2018. He did not see any game action for the Black Bears in 2021.

Then, Joseph transferred to the University of Saskatchewan (2022-23) with 52 tackles (49 solo, 8 assists), two tackles for loss, four interceptions for 84 yards, 16 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 19 games for the Huskies. He was named a two-time Canada West All-Star (2022-23).

In 2023, Joseph made 17 tackles (15 solo, 5 assists), one tackle for loss, two interceptions for 63 yards, nine pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 8 games.
