The Montreal Alouettes signed linebacker Jordan Wright on Friday.
Jordan Wright is six foot five and weighs 233 pounds. The 25-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was drafted by the Arlington Renegades in the 2023 XFL Rookie Draft. He was released by the Renegades on March 10, 2024.
Collegiately, Wright played five seasons at Kentucky (2017-22) with 168 tackles (92 solo, 76 assists), 25 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, 17 pass breakups, two interceptions for 26 yards, and one touchdown in 54 games for the Wildcats.
In his senior season, Wright made 62 tackles (32 solo, 30 assists), 9.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, four pass breakups, and one interception in 12 games.
