The Memphis Showboats signed tight end Cam Sutton on Tuesday.
Cam Sutton is six foot six and weighs 226 pounds. The 26-year-old from Moreno Valley, California, signed with the Vegas Vipers (XFL) on January 6, 2023. In 2023, Sutton made 12 catches for 140 yards in nine games.
Before Vegas, Sutton signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2020. In 2021, Sutton signed with the Seattle Seahawks playing three preseason games making four catches for 12 yards.
Collegiately, Sutton played one season at Riverside Community College in 2017 making 14 catches for 287 yards, and seven touchdowns in nine games for the Tigers. Then, he transferred to Fresno State (2018-19) making nine catches for 154 yards, two carries for 34 yards, and one kick return for four yards in 25 games for the Bulldogs.
