The St. Louis Battlehawks re-signed linebacker Travis Feeney for the 2024 season on Friday.
Travis Feeney is six foot four and weighs 240 pounds. The 21-year-old from Richmond, California, made 32 tackles (24 solo, 8 assists) and five sacks in nine games for the Battlehawks in 2023. The Battlehawks drafted Feeney in the second round (16th pick) of the 2023 XFL Supplemental Draft.
Before St. Louis, the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Feeney in the sixth round (220th pick) of the 2016 CFL Draft. He also spent time with the New Orleans Saints and Toronto Argonauts. In Toronto, Feeney made nine tackles, four tackles on special teams, and one sack in seven games.
Then, Feeney was drafted by the Tampa Bay Bandits (USFL) in the eighth round (339th pick) of the 2022 USFL Supplemental Draft. In 2022, Feeney made 50 tackles (28 solo, 22 assists) and 4.5 sacks in ten games.
Collegiately, Feeney played five seasons at Washington (2011-15) with 248 tackles (168 solo, 80 assists), 33.5 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks, four interceptions for 148 yards, one touchdown, 11 pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and four forced fumbles in 51 games for the Huskies. He was named an All-PAC 12 Honorable Mention in 2012.
