Calgary Stampeders sign former Mississippi College defensive back Julian Charles

The Calgary Stampeders signed former Mississippi College defensive back Julian Charles on Monday. The 24-year-old from Dallas, Texas, played for the Glacier Boyz (FCF) in 2022 with 26 tackles and one interception. In addition, he played for the Jousters (TSL) in 2021.

Collegiately, Charles played two seasons at Mississippi College (2016-17) with 61 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 19 games for the Choctaws. In his final season, he made 28 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in nine games.
