Philadelphia Stars cornerback Channing Stribling signs with Washington

On Friday, Philadelphia Stars cornerback Channing Stribling signed with the Washington Commanders. The Commanders open training camp on July 27th.

Channing Stribling (27-years-old) led the USFL with seven interceptions, 16 tackles, and one sack. The Stars drafted him in the eighth round (58th pick) in the 2022 USFL Draft.

Before the USFL, the Matthews, North Carolina, native played four games with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats with six tackles. In 2020, he played five games for the Seattle Dragons (XFL) with 14 tackles, one interception, and three pass blocks.

At Michigan, Stribling played 47 games in four seasons (2013-16) with 68 tackles, one sack, six interceptions, 22 pass blocks, and one forced fumble.
