Calgary Stampeders sign former NFL veteran DT Terrell McClain

On Monday, the Calgary Stampeders signed NFL veteran defensive tackle Terrell McClain.

Terrell McClain (33-years-old) recently played for the Oakland Raiders in 2019 with five tackles in five games. The nine-year NFL veteran played for numerous teams, including the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, Houston Texans, and Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers drafted McClain in the third round (65th pick) in the 2011 NFL Draft. He has 119 tackles and 7.5 sacks in 92 games.

The Pensacola, Florida, native spent four seasons at South Florida (2007-10) with 89 tackles, 7.5 sacks, ten quarterback hits, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. In 2010, he made the First-Team All-Big East.
