On Tuesday, the Toronto Argonauts signed linebacker Solomon Ajayi. The 24-year-old spent time with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2020.
If the last name Ajayi is familiar, he is the younger brother of former Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi.
Ajayi played his first two years (2015-16) at Bakersfield College with 50 tackles and one sack in ten games. After Bakersfield College, he transferred to Liberty University for his last two seasons (2018-19) with 165 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 25 games.
