The Calgary Stampeders signed defensive lineman Korey Foreman to a future contract and released linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green from the practice squad on Thursday, according to the CFL Transactions page.
Korey Foreman is six foot four and weighs 270 pounds. The 23-year-old from Corona, California, attended NFL rookie minicamps for the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2026.
Collegiately, Foreman spent three seasons at USC (2021-23) with 25 tackles (16 solos, 9 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one pass breakup, and one interception in 26 games for the Trojans. Then, he transferred to Fresno State (2024-25) with 44 tackles (26 solos, 18 assists), 10 tackles for loss, six sacks, five pass breakups, and three forced fumbles in 25 games for the Bulldogs. In 2025, he made 20 tackles (8 solos, 12 assists), five tackles for loss, three sacks, and three pass breakups in 13 games.
Nikhai Hill-Green is six foot one and weighs 224 pounds. The 25-year-old from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, signed with the Calgary Stampeders on September 15, 2026. He spent a week on the practice squad.
The Los Angeles Rams signed Hill-Green as an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2026. In 2026, he made nine tackles (4 solos, 5 assists) and one pass breakup in three preseason games. The Rams released him on August 29, 2026.
Collegiately, Hill-Green spent two seasons at the University of Michigan (2020-21) with 51 tackles (35 solos, 16 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, and one pass breakup in 17 games for the Wolverines. Next, he transferred to Charlotte in 2023, where he was named Third Team All-AAC after finishing the season with 73 tackles (48 solos, 25 assists), nine tackles for loss, two sacks, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 11 games for the 49ers.
Then, Hill-Green transferred to the University of Colorado in 2024, where he was named Second Team All-PAC-12 after finishing the season with 73 tackles (47 solos, 26 assists), 8.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions, and five pass breakups in 10 games for the Buffaloes.
Hill-Green concluded his collegiate career at the University of Alabama in 2025 with 60 tackles (36 solos, 24 assists), five tackles for loss, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 15 games for the Crimson Tide.
