The Lehigh Valley IronPigs announced on Thursday that Coca-Cola Park will be renamed Jefferson Park beginning with the 2027 season.
Coca-Cola Park has been the naming rights holder since Lehigh Valley’s inception in 2008. Earlier this year, the IronPigs and ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages announced that Coca-Cola would be concluding its naming rights partnership at the end of the 2026 season.
“This announcement will have a meaningful impact on the future of our ballpark and team,” said IronPigs Co-Owner Joe Finley. “It is an exciting moment for our organization and one that we believe will create tremendous opportunities and excitement for our fans, our community and our partners.”
The IronPigs led Minor League Baseball in attendance, which was the club’s fourth straight season leading the country (and 10th all-time). The IronPigs reached 10 million fans faster than any other Minor League franchise in history, and were recently named the number one Minor League Ballpark by USA Today. In addition to the games, Coca-Cola Park has hosted 40+ nights of Illumination and dozens of other community events annually.
“Jefferson is proud to stand alongside the IronPigs in a partnership that reflects our commitment to strengthen the communities in which we serve,” said Joseph G. Cacchione, MD, Chief Executive Officer, Jefferson. “As with the upcoming Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic, we are committed to making a long-term positive impact on the Lehigh Valley and the surrounding areas.”
Jefferson Health is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They operate over 30 hospitals and more than 700 care sites throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey, which ranks as one of the top 15 not-for-profit healthcare systems in the country.
Jefferson Health is also home to Thomas Jefferson University, Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Jefferson College of Nursing, the College of Business, the College of Fashion & Textiles, and the College of Architecture, Design & Engineering, dating back to 1824 and today comprising 11 colleges and one school offering 200+ undergraduate and graduate programs to more than 8,700 students.
“This initiative expands the long-standing relationship between the IronPigs and Lehigh Valley Health Network, which spans nearly 20 seasons,” said Kurt Landes, IronPigs President and General Manager, noting that Coca-Cola will remain a valued IronPigs partner and continue as the team’s exclusive beverage provider. “We had a strategic and deliberate process to ensure we found an organization that shares our vision, values our fans, and shares our commitment to the Lehigh Valley. The partnership will extend beyond the ballpark into the community through a variety of initiatives involving both IronPigs Charities and other key partners.”
