The Saskatchewan Roughriders released offensive lineman Jez Janvier and defensive back Millard Bradford on Saturday.
Jez Janvier is six foot five and weighs 314 pounds. The 25-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, was drafted by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the fifth round (47th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft. In 2026, Janvier played two preseason games, making the practice squad. He appeared in one game in Week 10 against the Ottawa Redblacks.
Collegiately, Janvier spent four seasons at Eastern Michigan University (2021-24), playing 27 games as an offensive and defensive lineman. He made nine tackles (5 solos, 4 assists) and a half tackle for loss. Then, he transferred to Southern Mississippi in 2025, playing five games for the Golden Eagles.
Millard ‘Nook’ Bradford is five foot eleven and weighs 191 pounds. The 26-year-old from Helotes, Texas, signed with the Calgary Stampeders on January 23, 2026. Bradford attended training camp and was released on May 13, 2026. The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Bradford to the practice squad on July 20, 2026.
The New Orleans Saints signed Bradford as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, Bradford made three tackles (2 solos, 1 assist) in three preseason games. In the regular season, he made three tackles (3 solos) in three games. The Saints released him on May 12, 2025.
The Chicago Bears signed Bradford on August 12, 2025. He did not play in 2025 and was released on August 25, 2025.
Collegiately, Bradford spent five seasons at TCU (2019-23) with 231 tackles (175 solos, 56 assists), 16.5 tackles for loss, one sack, four interceptions for 111 yards, two touchdowns, 19 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 58 games for the Horned Frogs.
In 2022, he had a career-high 58 tackles (41 solos, 17 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, one interception for 36 yards, one touchdown, and nine pass breakups in 13 games. He was named a two-time All-Big 12 Honorable Mention.
