The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed wide receiver Vyshonne Janusas on Monday.
Vyshonne Janusas is five foot eleven and weighs 221 pounds. The 25-year-old from Windsor, Ontario, re-signed with the Stampeders on November 18, 2025. In 2026, he made two catches for 12 yards in two games before he was placed on the practice squad. The Stampeders released him on July 28, 2026.
The Calgary Stampeders drafted Janusas in the fifth round (38th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft. In 2025, Janusas made two catches for 14 yards in 10 games. The Stampeders released him on November 2, 2025.
Collegiately, Janusas played three seasons at the University of Guelph (2022-24) with 71 catches for 1,010 yards, eight touchdowns, three carries for four yards, completing one pass for 32 yards, 30 kick returns for 800 yards, one touchdown, and three tackles (2 solos, 1 assist) in 16 games for the Gryphons. In 2024, he made 37 catches for 546 yards, three touchdowns, 18 kick returns for 506 yards, one touchdown, and two tackles (2 solos) in eight games.
