The Los Angeles Rams signed Birmingham Stallions defensive back Alex Cook on Monday.
Alex Cook is six foot and weighs 195 pounds. The 27-year-old from Sacramento, California, was drafted by the Birmingham Stallions in the 2026 UFL Draft. In 2026, he made 43 tackles (26 solos, 17 assists), one tackle for loss, one interception for 70 yards, one touchdown, one fumble recovery, one touchdown, and six pass breakups in 10 games.
The New York Giants signed Cook as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2023. He also spent time with the Carolina Panthers and the Chicago Bears. Cook appeared in 10 games for the Panthers in 2023 with 11 tackles (6 solos, 5 assists) and one tackle for loss. The Bears signed him on January 22, 2025. In 2025, he made eight tackles (3 solos, 5 assists), one sack, and one forced fumble in three preseason games. The Bears released him on August 25, 2025.
Collegiately, Cook spent five seasons at the University of Washington (2018-22) with 139 tackles (93 solos, 46 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, one interception, two pass breakups, one catch for 26 yards, and one punt return for seven yards in 53 games for the Huskies. He was named Second Team All-PAC-12 in 2022.
