Arrow McLaren announced on Monday its three-car lineup for the 2027 season, led by the new additions of Scott Dixon and a returning Felix Rosenqvist to pair up with Pato O’Ward. Christian Lundgaard and Nolan Siegel will not return. In addition, Ryan Hunter-Reay will run the fourth car at next year’s Indianapolis 500.

Scott Dixon is 45 years old and is from Brisbane, Queensland. This season, Dixon is in ninth in the IndyCar points standings with one top five and five top ten finishes. Dixon is a six-time IndyCar champion (2003, 2008, 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2020), and a winner of the 2008 Indianapolis 500. He ranks second all-time in series history with 59 wins.

“Joining Arrow McLaren in 2027 is an exciting next step in my career. It was a big decision for myself, for my family, and I’m looking forward to contributing to what the team, Zak and Tony are building there, said Dixon. “As a New Zealander, being part of Bruce McLaren’s legacy will be special; his spirit and grit are still very much rooted in that team, and I’m excited to carry that on.”

Dixon has also won the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona three times (2006, 2015, 2020), and is a two-time winner at Petit Le Mans (2020, 2024). In 2024, he was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America, and most recently into the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum Hall of Fame this past May.

Felix Rosenqvist returns to Arrow McLaren after spending three seasons there from 2021 through 2023. He is 34 years old and is from Värnamo, Sweden. This season, Rosenqvist is in seventh place with one pole, two top-five finishes, four top-ten finishes, and won the 110th Indianapolis 500.

“I’m excited to return to Arrow McLaren next season and reunite with Pato, of course, and also Tony, Zak and the crew and engineers I worked with previously. There are a lot of familiar faces, and we’ve got an incredible lineup with Scott joining and Ryan returning for the 500,” said Rosenqvist. “I think our collective experience will be a huge benefit. I’ve still got work to do to finish this season strong, but I’m looking forward to what’s to come at Arrow McLaren.”

Rosenqvist was named the IndyCar Rookie of the Year in 2019. In his IndyCar career, Rosenqvist has raced for Chip Ganassi Racing, Arrow McLaren, and Meyer Shank Racing with two wins, seven poles, 23 top-five, and 55 top-ten finishes. Before IndyCar, Rosenqvist won the 2015 FIA Formula 3 European Championship. He was a three-time Formula Renault title winner and is a two-time winner of both Masters of F3 and the Macau Grand Prix. In addition, he won three races in the Formula E Series and finished third overall in the 2016-17 standings.

Ryan Hunter-Reay is 45 years old and is from Dallas, Texas. Hunter-Reay was named the team’s Sporting Director last month. In his IndyCar career, he has started 296 races, with 18 wins, seven poles, 73 top-five, and 138 top-ten finishes. He won the 98th Indianapolis 500 in 2014, and won the IndyCar Championship in 2012. He has also won races in CART, Champ Car, American Le Mans Series and Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series.

“I have unfinished business with the 500, and so does this team. Our focus is on Indy; learn from the past, and our number one goal is to win the Indy 500. We have ample amount of time to be fully prepared in working toward a big month of May in 2027 racing alongside Pato, Scott and Felix,” said Hunter-Reay. “The four of us certainly know our way around the Speedway. In the meantime, working with the team full time as Sporting Director offers a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on our ambitious development plans for the 2027 season, the Indy 500 and beyond.”
