The Edmonton Elks re-signed linebacker Jadon Pearson to the practice squad on Monday.
Jadon Pearson is six foot one and weighs 222 pounds. The 25-year-old from Gilbert, Arizona, signed with the Edmonton Elks on May 5, 2026. In 2026, Pearson made three tackles in two preseason games. The Elks released him on May 31, 2026.
Collegiately, Pearson began his collegiate career at the Air Force in 2020 with six tackles (2 solos, 4 assists) in four games for the Falcons. Next, he transferred to Reedley College in 2021 with 74 tackles (56 solos, 18 assists), nine tackles for loss, three interceptions, and four pass breakups in 11 games for the Tigers.
Then, he transferred to Utah (2022-23) with nine tackles (6 solos, 3 assists) in 17 games for the Utes. Pearson transferred to Utah State in 2024 with 18 tackles (5 solos, 13 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, and two pass breakups in three games for the Aggies.
Pearson concluded his collegiate career at Fresno State in 2025, where he was named Second Team All-Mountain West after finishing the season with a career-high 106 tackles (51 solos, 55 assists), 7.5 tackles for loss, half a sack, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 13 games for the Bulldogs.
