The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed linebackers Ayo Oyelola and Dylan Hazen to the practice squad on Monday.
Ayo Oyelola is five foot eleven and weighs 213 pounds. The 27-year-old from Dagenham, East London, signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on September 3, 2025. He spent four days on the practice squad. The Blue Bombers released him on September 8, 2025.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers drafted Oyelola in the third round (22nd pick) of the 2021 CFL Global Draft. He appeared in one game, recording no stats. The Blue Bombers released him on November 25, 2021.
The Jacksonville Jaguars signed Oyelola on May 13, 2022. In 2022, he made one tackle (1 solo) in three preseason games. He spent time on and off the practice squad. The Jaguars released him on April 15, 2024. The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Oyelola on September 2, 2024. He spent the season on the practice squad and was released on January 11, 2025.
Collegiately, Oyelola played American Football at the University of Nottingham. He was also a soccer player in his youth days, and featured in the academies of teams such as Chelsea, Southend United, Dagenham and Redbridge, and Ebbsfleet.
Dylan Hazen is six foot one and weighs 239 pounds. A native of The Woodlands, Texas, Hazen attended the Chicago Bears rookie minicamp in 2026.
Collegiately, Hazen spent five seasons at Wake Forest University (2021-25) with 284 tackles (133 solos, 151 assists), 27.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, two interceptions, five pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 54 games for the Demon Deacons. In 2023, he had a career-high 86 tackles (44 solos, 42 assists), 8.5 tackles for loss, and one sack in 12 games. In 2025, he was named an All-ACC Honorable Mention after finishing the season with 73 tackles (30 solos, 43 assists), nine tackles for loss, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 13 games.
