The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed wide receiver Jihad Marks and released wide receiver Bryce Kirtz on Sunday.

Jihad Marks is six foot one and weighs 210 pounds. A native of Goodyear, Arizona, Marks began his collegiate career at the University of Northern Colorado in 2021 with one catch for 24 yards in four games for the Bears. Next, he transferred to Bakersfield College in 2022 with 47 catches for 835 yards, six touchdowns, two carries for five yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in nine games for the Renegades.

Then, Marks transferred to McNeese State University (2023-24) with 24 catches for 372 yards and four touchdowns in 18 games for the Cowboys. Marks concluded his collegiate career at The Citadel in 2025 with 14 catches for 464 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games for the Bulldogs.

Bryce Kirtz is six foot and weighs 180 pounds. A native of Brownsburg, Indiana, Kirtz signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on November 11, 2025.

Collegiately, Kirtz spent six seasons at Northwestern (2019-24) with 132 catches for 1,781 yards (36.2 AVG/G), five touchdowns, two carries for seven yards, two kick returns for 17 yards, five punt returns for 63 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 49 games for the Wildcats.

In 2023, Kirtz set career marks with 49 catches for 701 yards (58.4 AVG/G), five touchdowns, two kick returns for 17 yards, and one punt return for one yard in 12 games. In the Las Vegas Bowl against Utah, Kirtz made five catches for 68 yards and one touchdown. He was named an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention.

In his final season in 2024, Kirtz served as a team captain. He made 39 catches for 598 yards and two punt returns for 36 yards in 11 games.
