Report: Edmonton Elks sign offensive lineman Erick Cade

The Edmonton Elks signed offensive lineman Erick Cade on Saturday, according to 3DownNation.

Erick Cade is six foot five and weighs 345 pounds. The 23-year-old from Denton, Texas, spent two seasons at Ole Miss (2021-22), but did not see any action for the Rebels.

Then, he transferred to Missouri State University (23-25), starting 32 games at left tackle, right tackle, and right guard for the Bears. In 2025, he was named an All-CUSA Honorable Mention after starting 12 games at right tackle. Missouri State averaged 25.6 points per game, 392.2 yards per game, 279.7 passing yards per game, 112.5 rushing yards per game, and 42 touchdowns. The Bears finished 7-6 for the season and appeared in the Xbox Bowl against Arkansas State.
