The Montreal Alouettes released running back Quali Conley, wide receiver Sean Ryan, and offensive lineman Blake Bustard on Thursday, according to the CFL Transactions page.

Quali Conley is five foot ten and weighs 211 pounds. The 23-year-old from Fresno, California, signed with the Montreal Alouettes on January 5, 2026.

The Cincinnati Bengals signed Conley as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, Conley had seven carries for 28 yards and one rushing touchdown in two preseason games. The Bengals released him on August 25, 2025.

Collegiately, Conley spent three seasons at Utah Tech (2020-22) with 338 carries for 1,758 yards, 13 rushing touchdowns, 50 catches for 447 yards, three touchdowns, three kick returns for 24 yards, and two tackles (2 solos) in 27 games for the Trailblazers. In 2022, he was named First Team All-WAC with 186 carries for 1,095 yards, eight rushing touchdowns, and 12 catches for 89 yards in 11 games.

Next, he transferred to San Jose State University in 2023 with 131 carries for 842 yards, nine rushing touchdowns, and 27 catches for 269 yards in 13 games for the Spartans. He was named Fourth Team All-Mountain West by Phil Steele.

Then, he transferred to Arizona in 2024 with 150 carries for 745 yards, eight rushing touchdowns, 39 catches for 245 yards, one touchdown, two kick returns for 37 yards, and one tackle (1 assist) in 12 games for the Wildcats.

Sean Ryan is six foot three and weighs 200 pounds. The 27-year-old from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, signed with the Montreal Alouettes on March 31, 2025. He was placed on the league suspension list on May 11, 2025. The Alouettes re-signed him on March 2, 2026.

The Baltimore Ravens signed Ryan as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2023. In 2023, he made five catches for 46 yards in two preseason games. He spent the 2023 season on the practice squad. The Ravens re-signed him on January 29, 2024. In 2024, he made one catch for eight yards in three preseason games. The Ravens released him on August 26, 2024.

Collegiately, Ryan played one season at Temple in 2018 with 12 catches for 162 yards, one touchdown, and one tackle (1 solo) in 11 games for the Owls. Next, he transferred to West Virginia (2019-21) with 69 catches for 882 yards, three touchdowns, two carries for 26 yards, and three tackles (2 solos, 1 assist) in 30 games for the Mountaineers.

Then, he transferred to Rutgers in 2022 with 26 catches for 440 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games for the Scarlet Knights. He was named Second Team Academic All-Big 10.

Blake Bustard is six foot seven and weighs 317 pounds. The 24-year-old from Muskegon, Michigan, signed with the Montreal Alouettes on April 27, 2026.

Collegiately, Bustard began his collegiate career at Wayne State University (2020-23), playing left tackle and right tackle in 24 games, of which 19 were starts for the Warriors. He was named an All-American Honorable Mention by Hanson Football and First Team All-GLIAC in 2022. In 2023, he was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team.

Next, he transferred to Eastern Michigan University in 2024, playing nine games for the Eagles. Eastern Michigan averaged 24 points per game, 234.8 passing yards per game, 142.5 rushing yards per game, 377.2 yards per game, and 34 touchdowns.

Then, he transferred to Southern Mississippi in 2025, playing 10 games for the Golden Eagles. Southern Miss averaged 28.8 points per game, 401.6 yards per game, 266 passing yards per game, 135.6 rushing yards per game, and 47 touchdowns.
