The Columbus Aviators signed kicker Jonah Dalmas on Wednesday, according to the UFL Transactions page.

Jonah Dalmas is five foot eight and weighs 180 pounds. A native of Meridian, Idaho, Dalmas spent five seasons at Boise State (2020-24), making 93 of 108 field goals (86.1%), with a long of 56 yards, made 229 of 232 extra points (98.7%), 162 kickoffs for 9,775 yards (60.3 AVG), 65 touchbacks, one carry for -2 yards, and seven tackles (7 solos) in 49 games for the Broncos.

Dalmas is Boise State’s all-time leader in scoring points (508). He was named a three-time All-Mountain West Honorable Mention (2020, 2022, 2024), Second Team All-Mountain West in 2023, First Team All-Mountain West in 2021, a two-time Lou Groza Award Semifinalist (2021-22, Fourth Team All-Mountain West by Phil Steele in 2024, and a four-time Academic All-Mountain West (2020, 2022-24).

The Aviators released defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey and defensive back Leon O’Neal Jr.

Perrion Winfrey is six foot four and weighs 292 pounds. The 25-year-old from Maywood, Illinois, re-signed with the Birmingham Stallions on April 1, 2026. Collegiately, Winfrey played two seasons at Iowa Western Community College (2018-19) with 55 tackles (37 solos, 18 assists), 23 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, one forced fumble, two pass breakups, and three blocked kicks in 18 games for the Reivers.

Then, Winfrey transferred to Oklahoma (2020-21) with 42 tackles (20 solos, 22 assists), 17 tackles for loss, six sacks, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one blocked kick in 23 games for the Sooners.

Leon O’Neal Jr. is six foot one and weighs 204 pounds. The 27-year-old from Cypress, Texas, signed with the Columbus Aviators on April 10, 2026. In 2026, he played four games.

The San Francisco 49ers signed O’Neal Jr. as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022. The 49ers released him on August 12, 2022.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed O’Neal Jr. on February 13, 2023. In 2023, O’Neal Jr. played two preseason games with three tackles, one tackle for loss, and one tackle on special teams. The Roughriders released him on June 4, 2023.

He was named to the All-UFL Team.

The D.C. Defenders drafted O’Neal Jr. in the 2026 UFL Draft. He attended training camp, and the Defenders released him on March 19, 2026.

Collegiately, O’Neal Jr. played four seasons at Texas A&M (2018-21) with 161 tackles (108 solos, 53 assists), ten tackles for loss, one sack, six interceptions for 162 yards, one touchdown, 18 pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 48 games for the Aggies. He earned the Aggie Heart Award, Defensive Attitude Award, and the Defensive Aggie Award for strength & conditioning at the annual team banquet.
