The Louisville Kings re-signed defensive back Rayshad Williams on Thursday, according to the UFL Transactions page.
Rayshad Williams is six foot two and weighs 209 pounds. The 26-year-old from Memphis, Tennessee, was drafted by the Louisville Kings in the 2026 UFL Draft. Williams attended training camp, and the Kings released him on March 19, 2026.
The Las Vegas Raiders signed Williams as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, he made two tackles (2 solos) in two preseason games. The Raiders released him on August 27, 2024. The Houston Roughnecks drafted Williams in the eighth round (58th pick) of the 2024 UFL College Draft.
The Houston Roughnecks signed on January 4, 2025. In 2025, he made 33 tackles (26 solos, 7 assists), two interceptions for 75 yards, one touchdown, one forced fumble, and seven pass breakups in 10 games.
Collegiately, Williams played two seasons at UCLA (2019-20) with 42 tackles (36 solos, 6 assists) and three pass breakups in 18 games for the Bruins. Then, he transferred to Texas Tech (2021-23) with 94 tackles (74 solos, 20 assists), four tackles for loss, one interception, 24 pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 38 games for the Red Raiders.
