The Montreal Alouettes signed fullback Marco Dubois, along with 2026 CFL Global Draft picks offensive lineman Mark Petry and kicker Josh Burgess on Wednesday.
Marco Dubois is six foot four and weighs 230 pounds. The 31-year-old from Lasalle, Quebec, re-signed with the Redblacks on December 16, 2024. In 2025, he made six tackles on special teams in 18 games. The Redblacks released him on May 4, 2026.
The Ottawa Redblacks drafted Dubois in the second round (13th pick) in the 2018 CFL Draft. In 2024, he made two catches for 54 yards and seven tackles on special teams in 17 games. In seven seasons, Dubois has made 20 catches for 293 yards, one touchdown, one carry for one yard, one tackle, and 33 tackles on special teams in 120 games.
Collegiately, Dubois played four seasons at Laval University (2014-17) with 17 catches for 175 yards in 21 games for the Rouge et Or. He helped Laval win the 2016 Vanier Cup over the Calgary Dinos 31-26.
Mark Petry is six foot four and weighs 301 pounds. The 27-year-old from Hochheim am Main, Germany, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the first round (8th pick) of the 2026 CFL Global Draft.
Collegiately, Petry spent a season at Ellsworth Community College in 2019, playing eight games for the Panthers. Then, he transferred to Syracuse (2020-25), playing 39 games, of which 24 were starts for the Orange. He missed the 2021 and 2025 seasons with injuries. In 2024, Petry had 1,022 snaps at right guard and allowed three sacks on 673 dropbacks.
Josh Burgess is six foot three and weighs 210 pounds. A native of Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia, Burgess was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the second round (16th pick) of the 2026 CFL Global Draft.
Collegiately, Burgess spent two seasons at Weber State University (2022-23), punting the ball 100 times for 4,411 yards (44.1 AVG), with a long of 70 yards, eight touchbacks, 44 from inside the 20-yard line, 25 from 50-plus yards, and two carries for nine yards in 24 games for the Wildcats. In 2023, he was named an All-Big Sky Honorable Mention, an All-America from Bluebloods, and was a semifinalist for the FCS Punter of the Year award.
Then, he transferred to Texas Tech University (2024-25) with 89 punts for 3,815 yards (42.9 AVG), with a long of 61 yards, four touchbacks, 44 fair catches, 38 from inside the 20-yard line, and 16 from 50-plus yards in 26 games for the Red Raiders.
