The St. Louis Battlehawks (4-2) visited Lynn Family Stadium on Thursday against the Louisville Kings (2-4) to kick off Week 6 of the UFL season.

In the first quarter, Louisville’s offense went on a 10-play drive for 42 yards before kicker Tanner Brown made a 40-yard field goal to give the Kings a 3-0 lead. Later, Louisville’s defense got a turnover when St. Louis quarterback Harrison Frost threw a backward pass, and it was recovered by Cam Gill. The Kings could not capitalize as they went three-and-out. The Kings led the Battlehawks 3-0 heading into the second quarter.

In the second quarter, St. Louis quarterback Harrison Frost threw a 25-yard pass to Hakeem Butler to the 32-yard line. They moved the ball to the 24-yard line before kicker Ramiz Ahmed made a 42-yard field goal, and the game was tied 3-3.

Louisville returner Tyler Hudson returned the kickoff for 52 yards to the 37-yard line. They moved the ball to the 35-yard line. Kicker Tanner Brown missed a 53-yard field goal. Late in the second quarter, St. Louis quarterback Harrison Frost pitched the ball to Gary Jennings Jr. for a four-yard touchdown. Kicker Ramiz Ahmed missed the extra point, and the Battlehawks led the Kings 9-3 at halftime to conclude a six-play drive for 60 yards.

In the third quarter, St. Louis quarterback Harrison Frost threw a short pass to Steven McBride for an 11-yard touchdown for a 16-3 lead that concluded an 11-play drive for 64 yards. The Battlehawks held a 16-3 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

In the fourth quarter, Louisville quarterback Chandler Rogers had his pass intercepted by Nevelle Clarke at the 41-yard line. St. Louis moved the ball to the 45-yard line. Kicker Ramiz Ahmed attempted a four-point field goal for 63 yards, but did not get it.

Louisville did not have any answers all game long. The Battlehawks went on to snap Louisville’s two-game winning streak with a 16-3 win.

St. Louis had 296 yards on offense (242 passing yards, 60 rushing yards), 20 first downs, 2 for 2 in the redzone, and the team was penalized three times. Quarterback Harrison Frost completed 22 of 40 passes (55%) for 242 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and four carries for -4 yards. Running back Jarveon Howard had 16 carries for 56 yards.

Wide receiver Hakeem Butler made three catches for 47 yards, while Steven McBride made two catches for 14 yards and one touchdown, and Gary Jennings Jr. made one catch for four yards and one touchdown. The defense made 45 tackles, nine tackles for loss, six sacks, one interception, and four pass breakups.

Louisville had 166 yards on offense (199 passing yards, 12 rushing yards), six first downs, no redzone opportunities, and the team was penalized seven times. Quarterback Chandler Rogers completed 15 of 32 passes (46.9%) for 199 yards and one interception. Running back James Robinson had seven carries for 13 yards.

Wide receiver Tarik Black made four catches for 72 yards, while Zach Davidson made two catches for 45 yards. The defense made 61 tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, six pass breakups, and one fumble recovery.

Next Friday, the St. Louis Battlehawks host the Columbus Aviators at 8 pm on Fox. The Louisville Kings visit the D.C. Defenders on Saturday at 1:30 pm on Fox.
