The Toronto Argonauts signed offensive lineman Keegan O’Neil, defensive lineman Jason Compoh, linebacker Jordan Pollard, defensive back Keenan Isaac, and long snapper Christopher Liberta on Thursday. They also signed running back Isaiah Smith, wide receiver Nolan Ulm, and offensive lineman Frank Vreugdenhil.
Keegan O’Neil is six foot three and weighs 310 pounds. A native of Belle River, Ontario, O’Neil spent five seasons at Western University (2021-25), playing guard and center for the Mustangs. He was named Second Team OUA All-Star and First Team OUA All-Star in 2025. In 2025, Western averaged 41.9 points per game, 492.9 yards per game, 232 passing yards per game, 260.9 rushing yards per game, and 43 touchdowns.
Jason Compoh is six foot one and weighs 240 pounds. The 23-year-old from Nashua, New Hampshire, spent five seasons at Merrimack University (2021-25) with 77 tackles (51 solos, 26 assists), 16 tackles for loss, five sacks, and two forced fumbles in 38 games for the Warriors. In 2025, he made a career-high 30 tackles (21 solos, 9 assists), 10 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 10 games.
Jordan Pollard is six foot one and weighs 210 pounds. A native of Los Angeles, California, Pollards spent four seasons at San Jose State University (2022-25) with 353 tackles (196 solos, 157 assists), 26 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, 11 pass breakups, five interceptions, and one touchdown in 49 games, of which 35 were starts for the Spartans.
In his last two seasons, Pollard made 223 tackles (117 solos, 106 assists), 18.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, eight pass breakups, one interception, and one touchdown in 25 games. He was named a two-time First Team All-Mountain West (2024-25) and Second Team All-Mountain West by Phil Steele in 2025.
Kennan Isaac is six foot two and weighs 190 pounds. The 26-year-old from Midfield, Alabama, was protected by the Houston Gamblers in 2026. He attended training camp, and the team released him on March 19, 2026.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Isaac as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, he made 11 tackles (7 solos, 4 assists) and three pass breakups in three preseason games. He appeared in two regular-season games for the Buccaneers in 2023.
In 2024, he made three tackles (3 solos), one interception, and one pass breakup in three preseason games. The Buccaneers released him on August 27, 2024. The Carolina Panthers acquired him via waivers on August 28, 2024. They released him on September 7, 2024, and he re-signed with the Buccaneers on September 10, 2024.
Isaac was released again by Tampa Bay on November 12, 2024, and signed with the Las Vegas Raiders on November 20, 2024. He became a free agent after the 2024 season. The Houston Roughnecks signed Isaac on March 4, 2025. In 2025, he made 26 tackles (18 solos, 8 assists), two interceptions, and nine pass breakups in eight games.
The Roughnecks released him on August 1, 2025. The Cleveland Browns signed Isaac on the same day. In 2025, he made five tackles (3 solos, 2 assists) and one pass breakup in three preseason games. The Browns released him on August 24, 2025.
Collegiately, Isaac played five seasons at Alabama State (2018-22) with 166 tackles (119 solos, 47 assists), 13 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, three interceptions for 18 yards, 32 pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one kick return for 37 yards, and one touchdown in 45 games for the Hornets.
Christopher Liberta is six foot one and weighs 216 pounds. A native of Laval, Quebec, Liberta spent three seasons at Concordia University (2023-25) with four tackles (2 solos, 2 assists) in 17 games for the Stingers.
Isaiah Smith is six foot one and weighs 213 pounds. The 22-year-old from Burlington, Ontario, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the second round (11th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Smith spent four seasons at the University of Guelph (2022-25) with 141 carries for 880 yards, five rushing touchdowns, 32 catches for 369 yards, two touchdowns, one kick return for 16 yards, and seven tackles (4 solos, 3 assists) in 21 games for the Gryphons. In 2022, he was named OUA Rookie of the Year after finishing the season with 85 carries for 495 yards, three rushing touchdowns, and four catches for 19 yards in seven games.
Nolan Ulm is six foot two and weighs 205 pounds. The 24-year-old from Kelowna, British Columbia, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the fourth round (30th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Ulm spent six seasons at Eastern Washington University (2020-25) with 117 catches for 1,330 yards, 11 touchdowns, one carry for two yards, and 19 tackles (10 solos, 9 assists) in 57 games for the Eagles. He was named Fourth Team All-Big Sky by Phil Steele in 2023.
Frank Vreugdenhil is six foot three and weighs 321 pounds. The 25-year-old from Bellville, Ontario, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the fifth round (40th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Vreugdenhil went to the University of Toronto, where he earned the 2020 OUA bronze medal in the shot put for the Varsity Blues. He transferred to McMaster (2024-25), where he played 17 games for the Marauders.
