The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed offensive lineman Justin Osborne on Friday.
Justin Osborne is six foot five and weighs 305 pounds. A native of Flower Mound, Texas, Osborne signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. He was injured during the preseason, and the Browns released him on March 3, 2026.
Collegiately, Osborne spent one season at Auburn in 2019 as a redshirt freshman. He did not see any actions with the Tigers. Then, he transferred to Southern Methodist University (2020-24), playing 59 games for the Mustangs, the third most in program history. He was a team captain in 2023 and 2024.
In 2024, He was named an All-ACC Honorable Mention and Third Team All-ACC by Phil Steele after starting 14 games. SMU averaged 36.5 points per game, 429.5 yards per game, 261.9 passing yards per game, 167.6 rushing yards per game, and 62 touchdowns.
Osborne was named First Team All-ACC in 2023, Second Team All-ACC, and Second Team All-ACC by Phil Steele in 2022.
