The Louisville Kings signed offensive lineman Dohnovan West and released offensive linemen Nash Jensen and Leroy Watson IV on Monday according to James Larsen.
Dohnovan West is six foot three and weighs 309 pounds. The 24-year-old from Mission Hills, California, was drafted by the Houston Gamblers in the 2026 UFL Draft. He attended training camp before the team released him on March 19, 2026.
The San Francisco 49ers signed West as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022. In 2022, he played three preseason games. The 49ers released him on August 29, 2022. The Vegas Vipers of the XFL drafted West in the third round (20th pick) in Phase 4 of the 2023 XFL Draft. In 2023, he played 10 games, of which seven were starts.
The Vipers were not included in the USFL and XFL merger that formed the United Football League (UFL). The St. Louis Battlehawks drafted West in the 2024 UFL Dispersal Draft. In 2024, he played nine games.
St. Louis’s offense ranked sixth in total offense yards (2,721), third in rushing yards (977), seventh in passing yards (1,744), sixth in yards per game (272.1), and second in touchdowns (30). The Battlehawks appeared in the XFL Conference Championship game against the San Antonio Brahmas.
In 2025, West played 10 games, of which six were starts. The Battlehawks released him on August 20, 2025. West signed with the Arizona Cardinals on the same day. He attended training camp and was released on August 25, 2025.
St. Louis averaged 23.1 points per game, 289.8 yards per game, 145.6 passing yards per game, 144.2 rushing yards per game, 23 touchdowns, and allowed 22 sacks, finishing 8-2 for the season. The Battlehawks would appear in the XFL Conference Championship game against the D.C. Defenders.
Collegiately, West played three seasons at Arizona State (2019-21), starting 27 games as a center for the Sun Devils. In 2021, Arizona State averaged 28.4 points per game, 194.7 passing yards per game, 194.9 rushing yards per game, 389.6 total yards per game, and 46 touchdowns, finishing 6-3 for the season. They appeared in the Las Vegas Bowl against Wisconsin. West was named Second Team All-Pac 12.
Nash Jensen is six foot three and weighs 340 pounds. The 26-year-old from Osseo, Minnesota, was drafted by the Louisville Kings in the 2026 UFL Draft. In 2026, he played four games, of which three were starts.
The Carolina Panthers signed Jensen as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, Jensen played two preseason games. Jensen played 11 regular-season games in 2023, of which five were starts. In 2024, he did not play in the preseason due to an injury and was released on August 21, 2024.
The Memphis Showboats signed Jensen on January 6, 2025. In 2025, Jensen started 10 games. Memphis averaged 166.2 yards passing, 3.5 yards rushing, 252 total yards, 12 touchdowns, 14.8 points per game, and allowed 20 sacks, finishing 2-8 for the season.
Collegiately, Jensen played five seasons at North Dakota State University (2018-22), playing left guard in 70 games for the Bisons. In 2022, North Dakota State’s offense averaged 34.3 points per game, 265.7 rushing yards per game, 135.1 passing yards per game, 400.8 total yards per game, 63 touchdowns, and allowed 37 sacks, finishing 13-2 for the season, losing to South Dakota State in the FCS National Championship. Jensen is a four-time FCS National Champion, First Team All-American, and First Team All-MVFC.
Leroy Watson IV is six foot five and weighs 270 pounds. The 27-year-old from Snellville, Georgia, was drafted by the Louisville Kings in the 2026 UFL Draft. In 2026, he started four games.
The Atlanta Falcons signed Watson IV as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022. He also spent time with the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings, and the Las Vegas Raiders. Watson IV played 11-career NFL games (7 in Cleveland, 4 in Tennessee), of which four were starts.
Collegiately, Watson IV spent two seasons at Hutchinson Community College (2017-18), where he played tight end with 12 catches for 123 yards, two touchdowns, one carry for six yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 16 games for the Blue Dragons. He earned First Team All-Conference in 2018.
Then, he transferred to the University of Texas at San Antonio (2019-21) with 25 catches for 297 yards, two touchdowns, one kick return for 13 yards, and two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in 37 games for the Roadrunners. He was an All-Conference USA Honorable Mention in 2020.
