The Louisville Kings re-signed defensive back Kory Chapman, and released offensive lineman Willie Tyler III and defensive back Trey Dean III on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Kory Chapman is five foot ten and weighs 190 pounds. The 24-year-old from Hoover, Alabama, signed with the Louisville Kings on January 20, 2026. In 2026, he appeared in two games. The Kings released him on April 8, 2026.

Collegiately, Chapman spent three seasons at Austin Peay State University (2021-23) with 179 tackles (86 solos, 93 assists), 15 tackles for loss, four sacks, five interceptions for 30 yards, one touchdown, 14 pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 33 games for the Governors.

In 2023, he was named Second Team All-UAC after finishing the season with a career-high 73 tackles (37 solos, 36 assists), four tackles for loss, half a sack, two interceptions for 30 yards, one touchdown, and five pass breakups in 12 games.

Then, he transferred to the University of Texas-El Paso in 2024 with 75 tackles (35 solos, 40 assists), 12.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, two interceptions for 48 yards, two pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 10 games for the Miners.

Willie Tyler III is six foot six and weighs 310 pounds. The 26-year-old from Racine, Wisconsin, was drafted by the Louisville Kings in the 2026 UFL Regional College Allocation Draft. In 2026, he played one game against the Orlando Storm.

The New York Jets signed Tyler III as an undrafted free agent on May 2, 2024. He played three preseason games, and the Jets released him on August 27, 2024. Then, Tyler III transferred to the University of Louisiana-Monroe in 2021, playing nine games for the Warhawks. Tyler III transferred to Rutgers in 2022, playing 11 games, of which nine were starts at left tackle for the Scarlet Knights. He helped the offense total 460 yards at Michigan State.

Tyler III concluded his collegiate career at Louisville in 2023, playing 14 games for the Cardinals. In 2023, Louisville’s offense averaged 30.71 points per game, 236.64 passing yards per game, 178.5 rushing yards per game, 415.1 yards per game, and 54 touchdowns. They finished the season 10-4 and appeared in the 2023 DIRECTV Holiday Bowl against USC.

Trey Dean III is six foot two and weighs 200 pounds. The 26-year-old from Hampton, Georgia, signed with the Louisville Kings on March 31, 2026. In 2026, Dean III made three tackles (3 solos) against the Orlando Storm.

The New York Jets signed Dean III as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2023. In 2023, he made 24 tackles (19 solos, 5 assists) in four preseason games. The Jets released him on August 29, 2024, and re-signed him a day later. He spent the season on the practice squad. Dean III also spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cleveland Browns.

The D.C. Defenders signed Dean III on May 21, 2025. In 2025, Dean III made six tackles (5 solos, 1 assist) and two tackles for loss in one game. The Defenders released him on February 24, 2026.

Collegiately, Dean III played five seasons at Florida (2018-22) with 259 tackles (141 solos, 118 assists), 13.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, three interceptions for 63 yards, 24 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and three fumble recoveries in 62 games for the Gators. He was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2018.
