The Orlando Pirates of the Indoor Football League signed veteran offensive lineman Na’Ty Rodgers on Saturday.

Na’Ty Rodgers is six foot four and weighs 305 pounds. The 31-year-old from Pomfret, Maryland, started seven games for the Houston Roughnecks in 2024. In 2024, Houston averaged 253.9 yards per game, 179.9 passing yards per game, 74 yards rushing per game, 16 touchdowns, and allowed 26 sacks. The Roughnecks released him on May 20, 2024.

The Montreal Alouettes signed Rodgers on June 14, 2018. In 2018, he played 12 games. The Alouettes released him on June 9, 2019. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Rodgers to the practice squad on August 19, 2019. They released him on September 20, 2019.

The Seattle Dragons drafted Rodgers in the 2020 XFL Open Draft. They released him on January 22, 2020. The Tampa Bay Vipers signed Rodgers on February 1, 2020. In 2020, Rodgers played three games before the league shut down due to COVID-19.

The Ottawa Redblacks signed Rodgers on May 12, 2020. The league would cancel the 2020 season. He re-signed with the Redblacks on December 15, 2020. In 2021, Rodgers played four games. Houston averaged 290.5 yards per game, 174 yards passing per game, 116.5 rushing yards per game, 26 touchdowns, and allowed 22 sacks. The Gamblers were rebranded as the Houston Roughnecks when the USFL and XFL merged in 2024.

Collegiately, Rodgers started at South Carolina in 2013 as a redshirt freshman and did not see any playing time for the Gamecocks. Next, he transferred to Iowa Western Community College in 2015, playing two games for the Reivers when they won the ICCAC Conference Championship in back-to-back seasons.

Then, Rodgers transferred to Houston (2016-17), playing right tackle in 20 games, of which 19 were starts for the Cougars. In 2016, Houston’s offense had 29 rushing touchdowns and 1,912 yards on the ground. In his final season, Rodgers helped Houston to 25 rushing touchdowns and 2,002 rushing yards.
