The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed offensive lineman Dartanyan Tinsley on Monday.
Dartanyan Tinsley is six foot four and weighs 320 pounds. The 24-year-old from Owensboro, Kentucky, signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, he played in three preseason games. The Browns released him on August 24, 2025.
Collegiately, Tinsley spent two seasons at Kentucky Christian University (2020-21). He began as a defensive lineman with 33 tackles (7 solos, 26 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and one forced fumble in eight games for the Knights. He was named First Team All-NCCAA. In 2021, he switched to the offensive line, where he played five games. He was named First Team All-NCCAA for the second straight season.
Then, he transferred to Cincinnati (2022-24), playing left guard in 30 games, of which 21 were starts for the Bearcats. He was considered one of the top guards in the Big 12. In 2023, he started 12 games. Cincinnati averaged 426.1 yards per game, 209 passing yards per game, 217.1 rushing yards per game, and 35 touchdowns.
